ARTIST STATEMENT

Art is my visual language, used with the hope of bringing discovery, compassion, and empowerment to the viewer.

PAINTER

First solo show in 1977 at the University of Washington Women's Cultural Center followed by over 60 solo or group shows

MEDICAL ARTIST

Beginning in May 15, 1979, documented of over 6500 congenital heart surgeries from life in the operating room. Illustrations have been published in more than 30 medical books and journals, and have been used in professional and educational presentations locally, nationally and internationally.
